Add a License
This topic explains how to add licenses for NGINX Management Suite modules, including Instance Manager and API Connectivity Manager.
Download License
To download a license for NGINX Management Suite:
- Go to the MyF5 Customer Portal and sign in.
- On the top menu, select My Products & Plans > Trials.
- In the My Trials list, select your your NGINX Management Suite trial.
- Select the Licenses and Certificates link.
- On the Getting started panel, select Download License. The license
.lic
file is saved to your system.
Apply License
To upload and apply a license for NGINX Management Suite:
- Go to the FQDN for your NGINX Management Suite host in a web browser and log in.
- Select the Settings gear icon.
- On the Settings menu, select Licenses.
- Select Upload License.
- Locate the
.lic
file that you downloaded to your system, then select Upload.

user when NGINX Management Suite is licensed or unlicensed.

Unlicensed Mode
The following features are available when NGINX Management Suite is unlicensed:

The features belonging to API Connectivity Manager require that module to be installed.

Troubleshooting
Can’t Upload a License
If you have issues uploading a license, make sure you’re using the newest version of these supported web browsers:
