Server CLI Reference

This document is intended to help people run NGINX Instance Manager on the command line.

Prerequisites

Install NGINX Instance Manager and know where the binary location is. By default the packager installs nginx-manager to /usr/sbin/nginx-manager.

Usage

nginx-manager is the CLI binary for NGINX Instance Manager.

Usage:
  nginx-manager [flags]

Flags:
      --auth                          enable user authentication
      --bind-address string           bind address for all service ports (default "127.0.0.1")
      --cert string                   path to x.509 certificate file
      --gateway-port string           gRPC-gateway service port (default "11000")
      --grpc-port string              gRPC service port (default "10000")
  -h, --help                          help for nginx-manager
      --key string                    path to x.509 certificate key file
      --log-level string              set log level (panic, fatal, error, info, debug, trace; default: info) (default "info")
      --login                         temp login pages
      --metrics.storage-path string   default storage path on disk for metrics (default "/tmp/metrics")
  -v, --version                       version for nginx-manager
